Wednesday 14 November 2012 2:47 PM
A family tradition of supporting the same team is just one of the reasons why celebrity chef Julie Goodwin is a passionate Wests Tigers Member.
The inaugural Masterchef winner has been a Member of the Wests Tigers since 2011. She has also been a regular guest of the Club’s at many events and has even shared her love of cooking with the players.
Cheering loudly for the Wests Tigers is something her family enjoys.
“I have supported the Tigers all my life. My Nan was a Balmain Tigers supporter and my family is very proud to be Wests Tigers members,’’ Goodwin said.
“We are more than happy to support the Club at this level by being Members and we always enjoy the great energy surrounding a Wests Tigers home game. We enjoy meeting different Wests Tigers Members and getting to know one another.
“I encourage supporters who are not Members to really get behind the Club and sign up. I know our family can’t wait for next season.”
Julie, her husband Mick, and sons Joe (16), Tom (15) and Paddy (14) have taken up an Ultimate Gold Membership for 2013.
If you're a 2012 Member yet to renew your Membership, you have until 5pm Thursday 15 November to ensure you retain the same seat for next season. If you join/renew before this deadline, you will also receive your 2013 Membership card and kit before Christmas.
