Wests Tigers High Performance Manager John Skandalis today ran the team through a swimming session at Campbelltown Swimming Centre.

Wests Tigers are in the midst of a huge week of community engagement in the area leading into the big match up with Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday, 27th April at 7.30pm.

"It's always good to be at Campbelltown and show our presence," said Campbelltown local Skandalis.

"We're hoping for a big crowd and the Club is working hard to make sure people don't miss out and get along to the game."

Hype is building around Campbelltown as Wests Tigers prepare to take on the Queensland side.

"It's a good chance for people to see the Bronco's Australian and Origin stars," said Skandalis.

"Queensland have obviously dominated Origin for a while and the Broncos haven't been here for a while.

"It's a good opportunity for kids to come down and check them out and obviously see the Wests Tigers play against them, hopefully for a good win."

Skandalis ran the players through a tough session, but used the opportunity to reduce the strain on the players' legs.

"They had a pretty tough session yesterday on the field," said Skandalis.

"Today was just used as another conditioning session but we got them off their legs. It also doubles up as recovery.

"It's a little bit of extra work to prepare ourselves for the weekend.

"The boys are very confident that we can get away with a win if we play to the best of our ability. We showed that against the Storm."
