NRL Coach Mick Potter will welcome back Origin stars Robbie Farah and Aaron Woods for this week’s Round 16 clash against the Canberra Raiders.

The duo had both missed the Club’s Round 14 defeat against the South Sydney Rabbitohs due to representative selection, but both will take the field this Saturday night against the Raiders, with Potter calling their inclusion a huge boost for the team’s morale and structure.

“Robbie [Farah] does the amount of work that two people do,” said Potter.

“He’s an exceptional player and he’s going to make our team better.

"That’s to take nothing away from guys like Blake Austin and Joel Luani, who did very well for us [in his absence] and they’re improving all the time, but Robbie’s an established NRL player and a State of Origin player too.”

“He’ll come back and be a real bonus for us this weekend.”

Having been forced into making several back-line changes already this year, Potter said that being able to maintain the same back seven throughout the past few weeks — and again this weekend — was important to their success this year.

However, Potter said that while his side had been strong defensively, he was keen to see an improvement in attack from his outside backs in particular.

“We need to create a few more opportunities,” Potter admitted,” and I’m not completely happy with where we’re at there and there’s reasons for that.

“We’re looking to score more points, they’re our guys who put the finishing touches on, and they’re the guys that save us tries. They’ve been okay in one aspect and we need a little bit more from them in another aspect.”
