Nominations are now open for the 2014 Sports Dad of the Year award, with 11 Wests Tigers NRL stars to choose from.

The last NRL player to win the award was our very own John Skandalis back in 2009, with plenty of worthy Dads up for nominations again this year.

Other previous winners of the prestigious award include Jude Bolton (Sydney Swans), Mark Winterbottom (V8 Super Cars) and Lleyton Hewitt (Tennis).

The Award recognises sporting fathers who make positive impressions in the community, with the winner donating $5,000 to his charity of choice.
