Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks has tonight been voted as the best rookie in the game by taking out the prestigious 2014 Dally M Rookie of the Year Award.

Brooks had already been voted as the RLPA Rookie of the Year earlier in 2014.

The Holy Cross Junior played 21 games in his first full season in first-grade — finishing the season with six tries and 14 try-assists to his name.

Despite making his first-grade debut in Round 24, 2013 against the St. George-Illawarra Dragons, Brooks is still eligible to receive the Rookie of the Year Award in 2014 as he played less than three first-grade games in his debut season of 2013.

The 19-year-old is the favourite to be named as Wests Tigers' Rookie of the Year, which will be announced on Friday at the Club's 2014 Grand Final Luncheon.
