The last time Wests Tigers met the Parramatta Eels, it was Easter Monday, 2014, and the visitors on the day pulled off an thrilling 21-18 win.

Coming into the match without key personnel such as Robbie Farah and James Tedesco, length-of-the-field tries to Luke Brooks and Pat Richards saw Wests Tigers keep pace with the Jarryd Hayne-inspired Eels — locking the score at 18-18 with three minutes to play.

That set the stage for Brooks who, in just his eighth game of first grade, nailed a 30m field goal to give Wests Tigers a 19-18 lead in the final minutes of the game.

From the restart, Richards then converted a 50m penalty to secure a 21-18 win on the day.
