Wests Tigers forward Martin Taupau has taken the early guilty plea for a Grade Three Dangerous Contact – Head/Neck charge issued by the NRL’s Match Review Committee following the Club’s Round 20 match against the Sydney Roosters.

With no carry-over points, Taupau will miss the next three weeks of football, and will be eligible for selection again in Round 24 when Wests Tigers play the Cronulla Sharks.

This week’s opponents, Melbourne Storm, could also be without key forward Jesse Bromwich for Friday night’s clash at Leichhardt Oval, after he was referred straight to Wednesday’s judiciary hearing following a biting allegation from their Round 20 match.

Be there as we take on the Storm in our Marvel jerseys this Friday at Leichhardt Oval!
