Wests Tigers NRL Coach Jason Taylor believes his side have gone to a new level following their impressive 34-18 victory over the Melbourne Storm on Friday night.

“I’m very pleased, it was a really strong performance," Taylor said.

"We got behind early and that wasn’t great but I knew the guys weren’t going to give up.

“We’ve gone to another level in the last few weeks.

“Tonight we were really strong for most of the game, on the back of that.

“The hardest thing has been to keep at it, keep positive and keep working.

“We desperately needed a win tonight and we got it.

"You can only tell the guys for so long that it’s going to come and we are making progress.”

The Coach also praised the performance of fullback James Tedesco, who scored two tries and set up two more in his Man of the Man performance against the Storm.

“He is a special player.” Taylor said.

Captain Robbie Farah also echoed Taylor’s thoughts, saying "he’s [Tedesco] only going to get better, and in my opinion he is already one of the best fullbacks in the competition.”
