Wests Tigers duo Chance Peni and Esan Marsters have been named in the Cook Islands squad to play Tonga at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on October 17.
The match will mark the representative debut for both players, with Marsters becoming the youngest international player ever for Wests Tigers at 19 years and two months.
Marsters was part of the Club's Holden Cup campaign this season, scoring 14 tries in his 21 games, to help lead the side to a Semi Final finish for the second straight year..
The selection is an equally-fitting reward for Peni, who suffered a serious broken jaw earlier this year — ruling him out of action for several months. He returned in fine fashion, and ended the year as the Club's second highest try-scorer in NSW Cup with nine tries.
Peni and Marsters will come up against Wests Tigers teammates Delouise Hoeter and Joel Luani, who were both confirmed yesterday in the Tongan national side.
Prior to Saturday's international fixture at Campbelltown, Wests Tigers Brydens Lawyers Academy side (comprised of U/16 & U/17 players) will take on St. Helens Academy side.
