Wests Tigers forward Chris Lawrence has been called to the 2016 World All Stars squad, replacing hooker Robbie Farah who has withdrawn from the squad.

Lawrence, who will captain Wests Tigers' Auckland Nines team this weekend, will make his All Stars debut on February 13 against the Indigenous All Stars at Suncorp Stadium, and will become the sixth Wests Tigers player to have featured in the game.

In addition Robbie Farah, Sam Burgess, Lachlan Maranta, Tyson Frizell and Trent Hodkinson have all withdrawn from the World All Stars squad, with Adam Reynolds, Jeremy Smith, Michael Ennis and Jordan Kahu called in as their replacements.

Cronulla Sharks captain Paul Gallen has been shifted to lock in place of Sam Burgess, with Tom Burgess promoted to the front-row from the interchange bench.

The second-highest try-scorer and youngest ever player in Wests Tigers history, Lawrence made his representative debut for the Prime Minister's XIII in 2007, before going on to play for City Origin (2010-12) and Australia (2010-11) later in his career.

Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Chris on his inclusion into the squad!
