Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco says he's been looking forward to the Club's Easter Monday match against the Eels from the moment the draw was released.

Having missed the inaugural fixture in 2014 with injury, Tedesco played in the 2015 meeting between the two sides — featuring in the key moment of the game as he somehow got on the end of a kick from Pat Richards to score the decisive try in front of 35,000 fans.

And with another big crowd expected for Monday's clash against the high-flying Eels, the NRL's leading try-scorer so far this year says he's excited to run out there once again.

"It's definitely a game to look forward to for us," Tedesco said.

"Easter Monday has always had big crowds, and it's the first time that the Easter Monday game is our home game, so we need all our fans to get out there and support us.

"Over the past few years it's been an awesome atmosphere so I'm looking forward to it."
