Kyle Lovett says he's enjoying the City Origin experience as he prepares to make his representative debut this Sunday in the annual City-Country fixture in Tamworth.

Having represented NSW at a junior level in 2013, Lovett said he was loving being around several high-profile players in the City camp, and was learning lots in the process.

"I was over the moon when I got the call to come into camp," he said.

"It's been a really good time. The boys have been really good in camp, nice and relaxed, so it's been a really good experience so far heading into the game.

"It helps having some boys I play with each week at Wests Tigers beside me, so I'm looking forward to getting out there and playing with them to represent City together."
