Ahead of his side's clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Sunday Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah said the Indigenous Round was an important one for the NRL to continue to embrace, saying it means a lot to all the players involved.
Wearing the Club's first ever Indigenous Jersey at today's launch, Farah said he was looking forward to doing all involved proud when he takes the field in the strip this Sunday.
"It's quite nice," he said of the jersey. "It's the first time I've worn an indigenous strip."
"It was designed by one of our Members, and I think it looks great.
"I'm looking forward to running out there on Sunday and doing it proud.
"I think it's important for everyone to get involved in this round," he emphasised.
"It's the first time that as a club we've worn the Indigenous Jersey, and it's great that this has been designed by one of our Members to raise awareness for RECOGNISE, which will be on the back of our strip this week. I think it's a great thing to happen."
