Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco says he's happy with how he fared in his first game back from a shoulder injury last Sunday against the Sydney Roosters.

Tedesco scored a try and set up two others in the 14-point defeat, and despite being forced off for a concussion test early in the first half, said he pulled up fine from the match.

"I was really happy with the game and how I went.

"I missed a bit of footy with the shoulder injury so it was good to get through the game and it's pulled up pretty sweet which I'm really pleased about.

"I've got another week off with the bye after this week so it should be fine.

"It was disappointing to lose that one on Sunday, though," he conceded.

"We were still in the game with 20 minutes to go, but we just dropped too much ball in the end. There's positives to take out of it, and we'll look to get it right on Friday."
