Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma says Saturday's game against the Parramatta Eels is just like every other game remaining for his side in 2016 — a crucial one.

Currently in the middle of his best season of NRL football since his debut in 2013 with 10 tries in 17 games, Nofoaluma said his side were all too aware of the significance of Saturday's game against the Eels but definitely ready to keep their good run of form going.

"It's a crucial game for us, expecting with the position that we're in," he said.

"We're chasing the top eight, so every game from now on is a crucial one.

"Every game is important when you're in the hunt for finals football.

Having not tasted finals football yet in his career, Nofoaluma said being in the hunt for the finals was an exciting thing a young team and something that was spurring the players on.

"I think we've got to win four out of our last five or six games to be in with a shot of the finals," he said. "A few of us have been playing for a few years now and have never been in that sort of position before, so it's really exciting for us and the playing group are really excited about it."
