Wests Tigers Physiotherapist Peter Moussa provides the latest injury news and details ahead of the Club's Round 24 match against the Penrith Panthers this Friday.

Moussa confirmed that James Tedesco had undergone surgery on his fractured jaw suffered in the Club's last start loss to the Gold Coast Titans, saying that the fullback was in good spirits and eager to return to training as soon as possible.

"The surgery was originally meant for Wednesday but it was moved forward to last night, and we spoke to the specialist who said he had to put some hardware in there," he said.

"It was a nasty break, but he's confident it'll be about four to six weeks.

"That's the protocol for any fracture management.

"He's in good spirits.

"He texted me just before saying he wants to get back into it — I can't hold him down! — but it'll probably be about two weeks before we get him back to any sort of training.

"But he's pretty happy so it's good."

Moussa also confirmed the latest on Luke Brooks as he looks to make his return from injury this Friday, as well as confirming an injury sustained by Rod Griffin on the weekend.
