Wests Tigers players Jordan Rankin and Josh Aloiai were special guests at the Wests Ashfield Leagues Community Spirit Awards on Tuesday.

Wests Ashfield Leagues Board of Directors, management, staff and community partners spent the afternoon with the local community, recognising students and their schools that play an active part in creating a more caring and vibrant community. They were recognised with the Clubs’ Community Citizenship Awards.

The event also featured a Community Art competition that awarded the artwork of budding young talents. It was based on the theme of 2016 Rio Olympics, with artwork produced by local Primary School students. Wests Ashfield Leagues also presented the ClubGRANTS Category 1 awards, supporting local organisations to continue to do the great work that they do.

The Club proudly shared $300,000 amongst the local students, schools and organisations that were in attendance.
