Wests Tigers playmaker Mitchell Moses says it's exciting for the Club to be in with a shot of making the finals series heading into their last game of the regular season.

After upsetting the New Zealand Warriors 36-24 at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday, Moses and Wests Tigers touched down at the Sydney International Airport this afternoon tired but excited to still be alive in the competition heading into Round 26 this week.

The fixture that awaits them is a Sunday afternoon at Leichhardt Oval, where they'll take on the Canberra Raiders. Should they win (and the Gold Coast Titans lose to the North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday), the Club will record it's first finals appearance since 2011.

Which, according to Moses, makes for a pretty exciting week.

Don't miss our last home game of the year against the Raiders at Leichhardt Oval!

"We're just taking it game by game right now, but it's good," Moses said.

"We're in the position to make the semis at the moment, and it's great to be playing for that at Leichhardt, so hopefully we get a big crowd there to cheer us on again this year."
