Wests Tigers winger Jordan Rankin says the support of the Leichhardt faithful will be crucial on Sunday in his side's must-win game against the Canberra Raiders.
After a dominant display himself with the boot in tough conditions at Mount Smart Stadium last week, Rankin said the confidence within the team was high heading into Sunday's game — especially knowing the support of the Leichhardt crowd is behind them.
"We played the Cowboys there a few weeks ago and the crowd was unbelievable," he said.
"I think there was a fair chance they got us over the line that day.
"It's a pretty hostile place to come and play footy and it seems to be a good ground for us as Wests Tigers to try and win games against quality opposition.
"We're going to definitely need the support on Sunday to get over the line."
