Wests Tigers forward Ava Seumanufagai isn't worried by the sickness that's affected the team in recent weeks, despite captain Aaron Woods and retiring vice-captain missing training today in the lead up to Sunday's game against the Canberra Raiders.

After having the sickness himself earlier in the year, Seumanufagai said the main concern was about ensuring it didn't spread any further throughout the team, and was confident that both Woods and Halatau would be right to play in the must-win game at Leichhardt Oval.

"It hasn't unsettled us, to be honest," Seumanufagai told the media today.

"At the end of the day, we've got a job to do on Sunday and that's win a game.

"And whether those guys are sick today or not, I know they'll turn up on Sunday and they'll come and do the job for us — either way they'll be right to do the job that's needed.

"I had a similar thing a few months ago, but I'm sweet now.

"It's pretty rough, but the boys will be right to go on Sunday.

"Obviously we'd like to have them here at training, but for myself, not having them here doesn't change the way we prepare or the way that I'm preparing for the game.

"We've got a big job to do — regardless of how you feel or whether you're sore or not. That's what we're paid to do, to come and do a job so we're confident they'll be right on Sunday."
