Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Willie Peters has named his team to take on the North Queensland Cowboys in an Elimination Final this Friday afternoon.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:15pm from 1300 SMILES Stadium in Townsville, with the winner of the Elimination Final to face the Penrith Panthers in a Semi Final next week.

After a dominant 54-24 win over the Parramatta Eels in Week One of the finals, Peters has made just one change to this week’s team to take on the Cowboys, with Trent Pye replaced on the interchange bench by Rhys Sciglitano. Jakob Giles will also start in the front row alongside young prop forward Taniela Paseka, as per last week’s late change.

Wests Tigers will be looking to produce a similar performance against the Cowboys as their last encounter, where they recorded a 36-12 victory at Leichhardt in Round 22.

Friday’s Elimination Final against the Cowboys will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1.
