Wests Tigers Associated Teams and Junior Representative teams enjoyed mixed results over the weekend, with a number of impressive performances across the board.

While Western Suburbs' Ron Massey clash was postponed due to weather, the Sydney Shield side were able to record their first win of the year, defeating Mooreback Rams 24-16.

In Harold Matthews, Western Suburbs produced a thrilling comeback to defeat the Western Sydney Academy of Sport 18-17 — moving into the top eight for the first time this year.

The news was not as good in SG Ball, however, as the Magpies went down 30-22.

Despite good performances, Balmain also went winless through both junior grades, going down 22-6 and 22-16 to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the respective competitions.

Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale Nines side also went down to the Parramatta Eels 34-6, and remain level on points with Canberra and the Sydney Indigenous Academy after Round 6.
