Wests Tigers hooker Matt McIlwrick spoke to the media ahead of his side's clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs this Sunday afternoon at ANZ Stadium.

After scoring tries in back-to-back weeks for Wests Tigers, McIlwrick said he was happy with his own form, but determined to bounce back with a stronger performance on Sunday.

"Our team has a lot of potential but it's up to us to play to that," he said.

"There's a lot of positives to come out of what we've done in the last two weeks, but ultimately we didn't get the points on Monday and that's what matters.

"We need to keep working on the things we can and stay focused on that."
