Wests Tigers will take on the St. George-Illawarra Dragons this Saturday afternoon at ANZ Stadium as they look to turn around a number of disappointing defeats.

Ivan Cleary's side will head into the Round 13 match fresh after the bye last weekend, but will need to bounce back from a run of form that has left them winless from their last three.

The inclusion of Tuimoala Lolohea into the side for the first time comes as a boost for the side, but the omission of Luke Brooks with a hamstring injury is an issue to overcome.

However, those issues are not just for Wests Tigers, with the Dragons set to welcome back captain Gareth Widdop for his first game since suffering a knee injury in Round 8.

Despite sitting third on the competition ladder heading in to this week's match, the Dragons have won just one game since Widdop's injury — a 30-14 win over the Warriors last week.

Both teams will be looking for their Origin players to back up, with Aaron Woods, James Tedesco, Josh Dugan and Tyson Frizell all certainly full of confidence after a big win in Game 1.

When the two sides met earlier in the year, it was a commanding 28-6 victory for the Red V, with Jason Nightingale bagging a hat-trick in the final match before Cleary took charge.

Interestingly, as a Head Coach, Cleary has been victorious in five of his last six games against the Dragons, and has lost just once against a Paul McGregor-coached side.

Sunday arvo footy returns to Campbelltown on June 11 when we take on the Roosters!
