Wests Tigers forward Esan Marsters will make his NRL debut this afternoon against the St. George-Illawarra Dragons, becoming Wests Tigers Player 204.

The 20-year-old Marsters will make his first-grade debut off the interchange bench.

After coming through two seasons with Wests Tigers Holden Cup side, the Mount Albert junior made the step up to the Club's extended NRL squad in 2017 and has been featuring in the Club's Intrust Super Premiership side so far this season.

Capable of playing in the centres of back row, Marsters has great footwork and handling skills for a forward, and is a big danger to opposition defences with his sharp attacking skills.

Despite being only 20 years of age, the Auckland-born forward has already achieved two senior representative caps for the Cook Islands, as well as a Junior Kiwis appearance.

After attracting plenty of interest from rival NRL clubs, Marsters re-signed with Wests Tigers late last season, securing him at the Club until at least the end of the 2018 season.

Marsters joins new recruit Tuimoala Lolohea as the two new faces in Wests Tigers team to face the Dragons this afternoon, with Lolohea becoming Wests Tigers Player 203.
