Wests Tigers can provide the following Chemist Warehouse Injury Report ahead of the Club’s Round 17 clash against the Newcastle Knights this Sunday.

Chris Lawrence was close to making his return from his hamstring injury this Sunday, but the Club has decided to err on the side of caution with the injury. He is expected to be available for the Club’s Round 19 clash against the Sea Eagles following the Round 18 bye.

Tim Grant served a one-week suspension last week whilst recovering from a hamstring injury sustained against the Cronulla Sharks in Round 16. His rehabilitation process is progressing well and may also be available for selection against the Sea Eagles in Round 19.

After picking up a knee injury against the Brisbane Broncos in Round 11, Josh Aloiai is increasing his running volumes and pushing for a return in the later weeks of the season.

His return date is still unclear but expected to be after Round 19.

The Club’s two long-term injuries — Justin Hunt and Jamal Idris are both in the rehabilitation process with the Club closely monitoring their respective progress.
