After personnel and coaching changes throughout 2017, Wests Tigers centre Kevin Naiqama says he can see it all coming together for the side slowly but surely.

Leading Manly 16-8 before falling to a disappointing 12-point defeat last week, Naiqama said the signs were certainly there that the team was on the right track going forward.

"It was a disappointing one after working so hard to get back in the match, but it was definitely an improved performance," he said. "That last 20 minutes just let us down.

"We didn't give up when the scoreline changed and we kept fighting until the end, and I think that's a positive sign that we can take in to this week's game against Parramatta.

"It's not been an ideal situation with the coaching coming in during the year, particularly after doing a full pre-season under an old coach and structures.

"So we've been building on that for the last few months and I guess it's all starting to come together now for us over the back end of the year and hopefully that can continue."
