Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma knows his team aren't far off stringing a number of wins together — they just need to take that next step in closing out games.

Leading the Sea Eagles 16-8 last weekend before succumbing to a 28-16 defeat, Nofoaluma emphasised the growth he'd seen in the team lately and said the key was just that next step.

"We're improving each week, but we're just dropping off against quality sides," he said.

"Against Manly, we should have finished that off — we were ahead in the game.

"But coming in to this week's game against Parramatta, we've got to step it up.

"When we get ahead in games like last week, we've got to put the icing on the cake and get the two points on offer. We're good enough to do it, we just need to close it out."

See what David Nofoaluma had to say in full about this week's game in the video above!
