Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary gives his final thoughts ahead of his side's clash against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles tomorrow afternoon at Leichhardt Oval.

Despite impressive performances over the past six weeks, only two wins has put Cleary's side back in a fight to avoid the wooden spoon — something which the Coach emphasised the team wanted to avoid, but wouldn't be celebrating running 15th compared to 16th.

"The ladder position really doesn't make much difference, frankly," he said.

"Being where we are is never about celebrating ladder positions — it's about trying to play each week and build ourselves in to our winning performance and tomorrow is no different.

"The last six weeks we've been competitive and won the games we should have.

"We probably haven't been grinding games out well enough; last week was another example of that but that's where we've got to get to and keep showing that competitive nature. I'm looking forward to being back at home at Leichhardt and enjoying it with our fans tomorrow."
