Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary and captain Aaron Woods spoke to the media after tonight's come-from-behind victory over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.

Down 20-6 at half-time, Cleary put the win down to the Leichhardt Oval support.

"Once we got a bit of momentum, the crowd definitely started to help," he enthused.

"It’s been ages since we had a game where the crowd has been behind us like that.

"That probably pushed the boys on a bit.

“I thought being down 20-6 at half time, it wasn’t really reflective of the game. They were scoring more on their individual space more than anything.

"We really started the second half well, and the rest was history.”

"The boys are really working hard and competiting really well. We've lost a couple of games recently that we probably should have won but we haven't been good enough late on.

“It’s good to be able to play a whole 80 minutes today and just get close win because that’s what the NRL is all about. It’s about being able to perform well when it’s close.

"The ball rolled our way today in the second half.”
