Wests Tigers forward Josh Aloiai spoke from the field after a disappointing defeat on Friday night against the North Queensland Cowboys at Campbelltown Stadium.

One of his side's best in another impressive performance since returning from injury, the second-year forward said the loss was a tough one to concede, having been so dominant.

"At the moment, it's a hard one to try and figure out, to be honest," he said.

"It's definitely disappointing.

"It was definitely a hard-fought match but we just didn't come away with the win.

"We're going to have to get back into training and just try to work on it going forward."

With one final game in the season still to come at home against the New Zealand Warriors, Aloiai was adamant the team would continue to fight until the final minute of 2017.

"As you can see, regardless of where we are on the ladder, the boys are continuing to come out here and rip in, and I hope the fans can see how much effort we're putting in," he said.

"The boys are really putting their bodies on the line and we're ready to go again next week."
