It was another high-scoring week of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, with all major favourites continuing their winning starts to their respective campaigns.

Headlined by the enthralling clash between Tonga and Samoa in Hamilton, the second week was a relatively straightforward one for all involved, with a number of big scorelines involved.

Australia kicked off the weekend with a 52-6 mauling of France that included four tries to Wade Graham, while New Zealand backed that up with an even bigger win over Scotland — running out 74-6 winners thanks to an inspired performance from five-eighth Te Maire Martin.

Papua New Guinea and Fiji both continued their perfect start to the World Cup with wins on Sunday, while Italy and England both got their first points with wins over the USA and Lebanon.
