RLWC 2017 Results, Try-Scorers, Standings

Try, T 17111147

The quarterfinals of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup are set after a thrilling week of action — headlined by Tonga's historic victory over New Zealand in Jamilton.

The result was the first time in rugby league history that a tier-two nation had beat a tier-one nation, and it sets up a potential showdown between Australia and the Kiwis in the semifinals.

In other groups, Samoa and Scotland played out a draw — seeing Samoa through to the knockout rounds despite not winning a single game — while Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and England all recorded straightforward victories to book their place in the final eight.
