Two fascinating semifinals await this weekend in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, with the tournament set to take centre stage at Brisbane for the first time this year.
Suncorp Stadium will host Australia's intriguing semifinal clash against Fiji (who handed the Kiwis their second upset in as many weeks), as well as the final the week after on December 2.
The other semifinal will be played at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland as Tonga take on England, who will travel across the Tasman for their first game of this year's competition.
Wests Tigers will have several players in action over the weekend, with Kevin Naiqama and Taane Milne playing for Fiji on Friday and Tui Lolohea playing for Tonga on Saturday.
Mahe Fonua could also come into calculations for Tonga against England, with the centre offering another option in the backline to Coach Kristian Woolf should he choose to use it.
