There might have been an outpouring of emotion after Saturday's game, but Fiji captain Kevin Naiqama isn't getting too carried away with the Bati's win over New Zealand.
Naiqama has riden the emotional rollercoaster with Fiji throughout the World Cup, with tears flowing pre and post-game on Saturday after Mick Potter's side defeated a tier-one nation for the first time in history to book their spot in a third consecutive World Cup semifinal.
However, with 12 Tests for Fiji under his belt, the 28-year-old captain knows that as good as a quarterfinal win over the Kiwis is, it's not the final goal for this team at the World Cup.
"We have definitely made history this week for the nation of Fiji," Naiqama told RLWC 2017.
"I'm just overwhelmed with the joy and emotion from the boys' efforts.
"It's a historic win, but in saying that, the job is only half done.
"We have Australia to focus on next week."
The giant-killing performance from Fiji sets the stage for perhaps the most unpredictable World Cup semifinals in history as the Bati face Australia while Tonga take on England.
It also means New Zealand will not play in a World Cup final for the first time since 1995.
Fiji's clash against Australia will be no surprise to many within the squad, particularly Ashton Sims and Akuila Uate, who have faced the Kangaroos in the semifinals in both 2013 and 2008.
Fiji were comfortably beaten by the Kangaroos on both occasions, but with the belief and talent in this Fiji squad, many are tipping a far closer contest this time around in Brisbane.
Australia have never lost against Fiji, winning all five of their contests by a combined scoreline of 280-10 — including those two aforementioned victories at the 2008 and 2013 World Cups.
Interestingly, though, is their record at Suncorp Stadium, where they have won just one of their past five Test matches and haven't tasted victory since the 2009 ANZAC Test.
Fiji, on the other hand, have never played in Brisbane but have won four from four games played in Queensland with two wins each in Townsville and the Gold Coast.
