Match Report: NSW Cup Round 7 vs Panthers

Wests Tigers suffered a 40-14 loss to the Panthers in Round 7 of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup at BlueBet Stadium on Saturday.

The Magpies were on the end a big loss at Penrith after conceding five unanswered tries in the opening half hour.

Winger Solomon Alaimalo posted the Magpies first try two minutes before half time to have his side down 30-4 at the break.

Panthers half Trent Toelau crossed five minutes into the second half to extend the home side's lead to 34-4 putting the game all but out of reach for the black and whites.

Jayden Sullivan scored for the Magpies just after the hour mark before the Panthers went in again, with Declan Casey scoring in the final couple of minutes.
