Match Preview: Jersey Flegg Cup Round 9 vs Bulldogs

Wests Tigers face Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 9 of the Jersey Flegg Cup on Friday night at Belmore Sports Ground.

The second-placed Tigers are aiming for a fourth straight win after scraping home against the Storm last weekend at Campbelltown.

The Bulldogs have played one less game than Wests Tigers with five wins and two losses and sit third on the ladder after last week’s 60-0 win over the Silktails.

In team news Wests Tigers will be boosted by the inclusion of hooker Bailey Hodges who is returning from a week off (HIA), while Tom Fisher, Vaka Aho and Kobie Wilson are also aiming to return from recent injury.

Max Taotua returns the centres where he scored a double on debut in Round 6 against the Dragons.

Coach's Comment: Leon Latulipe

I've been really impressed with the boys efforts and the results and this is a reflection of the hard work the players are putting in.

This will be a really good test for us on Friday going up against last year's premiers who like us are also in form.

We will be looking to repeat the efforts of the last couple of weeks and let our footy do the talking.
