Youth Development

Wests Tigers are passionate about preparing our young Australians for their future. As we recognise the challenges youth face, our aim is to assist the next generation to strive towards their full potential.

Wests Tigers Unite Harmony Program

The Wests Tigers Unite Harmony program aims to encourage and unite high school students (stage 4-5) to be leaders in their community. Wests Tigers understand the impact rugby league has on young people and the ability for individuals to come together under a shared sense of belonging.

This shared sense of belonging provides opportunities to students to reflect on their values and attitudes and develop the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary for them to practise and adopt sustainable and cohesive ways of living.

Unite Harmony is a six week non-formal educational program, including a combination of in-class and on-field workshops with a dedicated theme each week. The program reflects the Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) NSW school syllabus, linking to the three skill domains of:

  • Self-management (S)
  • Interpersonal (I)
  • Movement (M)

This Unite Harmony Program is open to all high schools within Wests Tigers catchments in the Inner and South West of Sydney. If you would like to request a Unite Harmony school information pack, email
