If you're looking for an edge in your Fantasy matchups this week, Wests Tigers forward Matt Eisenhuth might just be the way to go as he takes on Brisbane.
After a stellar debut season in 2017 that saw him earn a price tag north of $600K in 2018, Eisenhuth's start to the year has been consistent without being brilliant — averaging 37 points in the opening two rounds.
His 37 average has been made up entirely of base points, meaning there is some potential to improve if the attacking stats start to come, but perhaps the biggest reason why his new opportunity in the starting side.
Coming off the bench in his opening two games of the year, Eisenhuth has chalked up 121 and 141 metres respectively while also contributing 31 and 24 tackles — not bad numbers for reduced minutes.
But with Elijah Taylor out of the team this week with a hamstring injury that might open the door in the near future at least for Eisenhuth, it's an opportunity certainly worth taking a shot on.
The 25-year-old showed last year that when he was starting, he was a must-have and must-play in NRL Fantasy, and he's definitely worth considering again given the opportunity he now has.
Owned by just 0.8% of teams, Eisenhuth is predicted to drop $10K this week with a breakeven of 51, but don't be surprised if he comes close to reaching that mark if he indeed starts against the Broncos.
He will set you back $629K, but given his history last year, that could be money well spent.
