Zane Musgrove

Zane Musgrove joined his new Wests Tigers teammates on Friday for his first day of pre-season training since joining the club.

After being released from the final two years of his contract with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Musgrove was confirmed by the club on a three-year deal that will see him remain with Wests Tigers until at least the end of the 2021 season.

A very promising young forward who looked destined to rise up the ranks at the Rabbitohs before sustaining a number of injuries last season, the 22-year-old Musgrove will begin his time at Wests Tigers in the rehabilitation group as he continues to recover from ankle surgery earlier this year.

He joins Ryan Matterson and Paul Momirovski as the new faces at the club in 2019, with the club's four young Development players from 2018 also stepping up.

Musgrove made his first-grade debut under Coach Michael Maguire at the Rabbitohs in 2016, playing six games that season and 21 games the following year in 2017.

He also made his international debut for Samoa against Tonga in 2017.
