Wests Tigers NRL All-Stars Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah today joined their big-name teammates in meeting fans in Ipswich.

The NRL All-Stars are preparing to take on the Indigenous All-Stars in Brisbane on Saturday in what is fast becoming regarded as the opener to the NRL season.

Wests Tigers five-eighth and NRL All-Stars captain Benji Marshall can't wait to get back on the park after a long and gruelling pre-season campaign.

"I'm just looking forward to playing," said Marshall.

"It's been a long pre-season for a lot of us and it's a great chance to get back out there and play a game.

"We just want the pre-season to be over."

Marshall will start the game in the number six jersey with Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah set to come off the bench in Wayne Bennett's side.
