Wests Tigers were last week visited by the Papua New Guinea national team as they prepared for the match with South Sydney.


Wests Tigers' own 'flying Fijian' took time out to meet his Pacific counterparts as they continue preparations for the 2013 World Cup.


Tuqiri watched the PNG residents side train before posing for photos.


Head Coach Adrian Lam spoke to Wests Tigers TV when training was complete.


"Coming here was great," said Lam. "We're very thankful for Lote to come out and say G'day to the boys.


"I think he's played them a couple times and felt their hard defence. He appreciates them and they appreciate him.


"It was good times."
