Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah has urged all fans to sign up as Wests Tigers members to show their support for the club.

In a era where membership is becoming so vital to NRL clubs the New South Wales hooker has asked fans to make the step up from simply being fans of the club to join up and become a part of their club.

"More and more members are becoming so important," said Farah. "We've seen over the last few years fans have signed on in big numbers to become members.

"I know we work hard at Wests Tigers at looking after our members. We see them as not only fans but as a part of our club.

"We try to interact with them as much a possible, they're so important to us.

"Seeing the Wests Tigers members show up on game day really gives us a boost on game day.

"As players we love running out in front of big crowds, we love having great support and massive membership bases."

Farah said he felt a new era had come to Wests Tigers and with the Club's first win of the season on the board it was time for fans of the club to join over ten thousand other who had committed to the club.

"With a new coach, Mick Potter, coming in it's a little bit different around Concord with a new coach but it's been refreshing," said Farah.

"He's come in with some new ideas and strategies. For us it's about learning his style.

"We're looking forward to looking forward to a big 2013 season after a disappointing year last year."
