The hallowed turf of Leichhardt Oval was graced by an iconic figure today in the form of a special '007' vehicle.

A customized '007' SKYFALL vehicle was taken for a spin around Leichhardt Oval to celebrate the film's home entertainment release in conjunction with the Club's Skyfall promotion at the ground this Friday night.

Wests Tigers will wear specially designed 'Skyfalll' jerseys for the NRL match against Parramatta Eels.

Skyfall is released on Blu-ray and DVD on Wednesday March 27. Wests Tigers full-back Tim Moltzen was joined by Tigers legends Paul Sironen and Steve Roach who took the special 007 car for a spin around Leichhardt Oval.

The vehicle features iconic imagery from the most successful film in the James Bond franchise, including the famous 007 insignia.

Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, Skyfall's home entertainment release follows the phenomenal theatrical success of the 23rd instalment of the longest-running franchise in film history.

The jersey is not for retail sale.
