Wests Tigers are inviting our Members and supporters to help us celebrate Women in League with an exclusive screening of The Big Wedding at Event Cinemas in Top Ryde.
The event will raise money for the Haematology Department at the Concord Cancer Centre; which supported Robbie Farahs mother, Sonia, before she passed away last year.
The exclusive screening will take place on Monday May 13, with tickets on sale at $65 per person.
Attendees will receive a special gift on arrival, champagne and canaps as well as the chance to mingle with a number of Wests Tigers players who will be present at the event.
Here is the fun part You are able to bid on your favourite player to sit next to you during the movie, with all proceeds going to charity.
Winning bidders will receive a ticket to the movie. plus the chance to get to know your favourite Wests Tigers player (each player has a reserve of $100).
Wests Tigers Community Manager Yvette Downey says its important to recognise the hard-working women in the game.
It is a fun way to celebrate the important role that women play with the Rugby League community, whilst also raising funds for an important cause, said Downey.
