Wests Tigers Coach Mick Potter says the bonding camp in Kiama was just what the players needed ahead of tomorrow nights clash against North Queensland Cowboys at Leichhardt Oval.

The team spent Monday and Tuesday in the seaside town with training held at Kiama Showground in between some light hearted team activities to help freshen the players up for the must win match against the Cowboys.

Some of the younger guys needed to spend a bit more time with the senior blokes. I thought it was worthwhile, Potter said this morning.

Potter also praised five-eighth Benji Marshall for his work ethic and professionalism after being dropped to the interchange bench last week.

He wants to do better. He wants to do the best for the team, the club and the fans, Potter said.

Benji is a driven individual. I like to see the best of him this weekend.
