Wests Tigers Coach Mick Potter has revealed exclusively to Wests Tigers Members that both Bodene Thompson and Shaun Spence will return to this weeks team to face Canberra.

Thompson makes a return from an ankle injury ahead of schedule while Spence gets the call up from NSW Cup.

While the return from injury of Thompson is a boost, the Wests Tigers will be without the experience of Braith Anasta.

Its convenient (the return of Thompson), we lost Braith with a shoulder injury so its one for one at the moment, Potter said.

With Aaron Woods going to State of Origin, Spence gets his opportunity.

We will get to see what Shaun has got.

He has been doing a solid job in NSW Cup and has been our 18th man for the past few weeks.

Facing an in-form Canberra side will be a test, but Potter believes the young squad will step up.

We are expecting them to pick on our edges because it left a lot be desired last night, Potter said.

We have a short turn around and we will be working on these areas as much as we can.

They have a team brimming with confidence so its a dangerous game for us.

Stay tuned for the full team announcement on weststigers.com.au shortly.
