Wests Tigers will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous 1963 grand final by wearing the Western Suburbs heritage jersey against St George Illawarra on Saturday.

The decision is a continuation of the NRL's celebrations, including the renaming of the premiership trophy as the Provan-Summons trophy.

Wests Tigers will follow this week's game up by wearing the Balmain heritage jersey in the final home game for the season against South Sydney at Allianz Stadium in Round 25.

Both jerseys are available to purchase.
