Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the re-signing of Meriton as the Clubs major sponsor for 2014.

The ongoing support of Meriton is highly valued by the Wests Tigers at a time when sponsorship plays a crucial role in the success of sporting Clubs both on and off the field.

The deal is more good news for Wests Tigers after the recent announcement of a tenancy at ANZ Stadium.

Proud sponsors of the Wests Tigers NRL side for the past three seasons, Meriton were also the inaugural major sponsor of the Club in season 2000.

Meriton are Australias leading property developer and have been building quality apartments for 50 years having built over 60,000 apartments for sale, rent and serviced accommodation across Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Club Deputy Chairman Nick Di Girolamo secured the deal with Meriton Chairman and Managing Director, Harry Triguboff and was thrilled with the outcome of the negotiations.

"I am very pleased to confirm that I met with Mr. Triguboff on Friday afternoon. We had a thorough discussion about the future plans for Wests Tigers, Di Girolamo said.

At the conclusion of that discussion we agreed on terms for Meriton to remain as our long-standing major sponsor for 2014.

I think it demonstrates that Mr. Triguboff, who is a very astute businessman, is confident that as a Club we are headed in the right direction.

We are grateful to him and Meriton for the continued support of our great Club."

Mr. Triguboff expressed his delight at extending Meritons partnership with Wests Tigers.

Meriton has been with the Wests Tigers from the beginning and we feel that the new direction of the Club will result with a much improvement, Triguboff said.

We have many good young players whom we must keep.

I am very grateful for the work of Benji Marshall and I am sure that Robbie Farah will be an inspiration to the young players.

Meriton will feature on the Wests Tigers new playing strips for the 2014 season as the Club embarks on its 15th season in the NRL.
