Following the release of the 2014 NRL draw last week Wests Tigers player Dene Halatau has spoken about some of the upcoming games, including the Clubs 15th anniversary match against the Brisbane Broncos.

In round 11 Wests Tigers will take on the Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, with the game to mark the 15th anniversary of the two teams 24-all draw in 2000.

Were looking forward to getting some good home crowds next year, especially at Campbelltown with our 15th anniversary match against Brisbane and matches against competition heavyweights the Melbourne Storm, the Canberra Raiders who are looking promising and old foes the Cowboys, said Halatau.

The round 11 game marks the birth of the Club and our first game against Brisbane with our own John Skandalis scoring the first try in Wests Tigers colours so its going to be a big match, he said. I urge all Members to get down for that game and for those who arent currently Members to join up and get to some Campbelltown games.

I remember from when I was with the Club before what it was like when Campbelltown is packed, its a great feeling to play in front of that crowd and easier for us to play at our best when theres support behind us, said Halatau
